Your chat answers questions.
NextIntent decides when to start them

Rules fire on a timer and interrupt visitors who were fine. NextIntent reads live behavior and anticipates the moment someone needs help, so the conversation starts before they give up.

The problem

Most visitors never ask for help

85%+

Industry benchmarks put live chat engagement at 5 to 15 percent of visitors. Everyone else hesitates, compares, stalls, and leaves without a word. Your agent can answer anything. It is waiting for a question that never comes.

The fix is one script →

How it works

Give your agent a sense of timing

STEP 1

Install one script

A lightweight script streams live behavior: attention, hesitation, struggle, momentum. It reads timing and movement, never what visitors type.

STEP 2

NextIntent finds the moment

Real-time judgment separates browsing from deliberation from struggle, then decides: speak now, wait, or stay silent. One approach per visit, never more.

STEP 3

Your agent speaks

The moment and its context are handed to your agent over MCP or a simple webhook. It opens the conversation. You own the relationship.

And it works in both directions →

Two directions

We push the moment.
Your agent pulls the context.

Timing is half the product. The other half is that your agent can ask us questions mid-conversation, so its answers and its own workflows run on live awareness instead of a blank screen.

Push

The moment arrives

When a visitor hits a moment worth interrupting for, NextIntent hands your agent the opening, the reason, and the context to say something useful. Not a rule you wrote. A judgment made live.

moment: deliberation · comparing "Growth" vs "Scale" · 3rd visit · pricing page

Pull

Your agent asks us anything

Mid-conversation, your agent can query NextIntent over MCP: what is this visitor doing right now, what held their attention, are they struggling. Its own workflows can branch on the answer.

agent → visitor_context() → { attention: "annual pricing", struggle: none, returning: true }

And why no rule can do this →

Why this is different

We're not detecting what happened.
We're detecting what is happening.

Plenty of tools see behavior. Almost all of them see it after the fact, score it, or react to it with a rule. NextIntent streams it live and keeps re-deciding while the visitor is still on the page. Think of four waiters.

BEHAVIORAL ANALYTICS

Reads the receipts after you have left

Behavior happens. It gets recorded. Someone understands it afterward. Useful for next quarter, useless for the visitor on the page right now.

ExamplesClarity, Hotjar, FullStory, Pendo

INTENT SCORING

Knows which tables tip well

A score says how likely a visitor is to buy, then a threshold decides. Useful for routing a sales team. It says who, not when, and the trigger is still a rule.

ExamplesLift AI, 6sense, Demandbase

RULES-BASED TRIGGERS

Checks every table every five minutes

A rage click, exit intent, thirty seconds on a page. A predefined event fires a predefined message. By the time the event exists, the moment is often already gone.

ExamplesIntercom, Drift, Zendesk rules

NEXTINTENT

Notices before you have to ask

Hesitation, movement and friction stream in continuously. The call between quiet, wait and engage is remade as the evidence moves. Your agent hears the instant the answer changes.

Works withCrisp, Intercom, any agent over MCP

Your agent has intelligence. It already knows how to help.

NextIntent gives it awareness. It knows when help is about to be needed.

So which moments earn an interruption? →

What it notices

Four moments worth interrupting for

Every other moment, NextIntent keeps your agent quiet. Silence is a feature.

The struggle

Scroll thrashing, circular navigation, the same page three times. Someone is looking for a thing they cannot find.

"Happy to help you find the right pack size, just let me know."

The deliberation

Two options, long attention on both, no decision. Someone is missing the one piece of information that settles it.

"Comparing Growth and Scale? The short version: Scale adds SSO and audit logs. If it's just the seats you need, Growth covers it."

The buying moment

Settled attention on pricing, a stalled quote form, a return visit to the same plan. Interest is real and the moment is now.

"One thing worth knowing about the Growth plan: annual billing brings it under your current spend. Happy to walk through it."

The quiet exit

Momentum fading, attention drifting, about to leave without asking. The moment before "maybe another day."

"If any questions come up about the audit, I'm right here."

Principles

Helpful is a timing problem

Being offered help is welcome. Being watched is not. The entire system is built on that line.

Never twice

One approach per visit, decided carefully. A visitor who declines is left alone.

Never creepy

The agent speaks to what is on the page, never to what was measured. No "I noticed you've been reading this for a while."

Fail quiet

Uncertainty means silence. A missed moment costs a little. A wrong interruption costs trust.

What you get

What you see once it is installed

One script, one connection to your agent. From the first day you get a live account of what your visitors were doing and what your agent did about it, measured against the visitors it left alone.

The moments

Every visit is read as quiet, wait or engage. You see the ones where help was needed, what your agent said, and what the visitor did next.

Your lift, measured against silence

A share of visitors is always held out and left alone. Every report shows outcomes with NextIntent next to outcomes without it, with the sample size, so the number is yours and not ours.

The timing, on record

Each approach carries when it happened and why. You can see where waiting paid off, where it did not, and set how patient your agent should be.

Never miss the moment

Silence is a feature

The restraint is the product

Integration

Works with the agent you already chose

NextIntent is the awareness layer for AI agents and chatbots, not another agent. It is the sense of timing and context underneath yours. Built for AI agents: if it can hold a conversation, we can tell it when to start one and what to say it about.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Does this replace my AI agent?

No. NextIntent has no chat window and writes no answers. It watches for the moment, hands your agent the opening and the context, and steps out of the way.

What does the script actually capture?

Timing and movement: attention, scrolling, hesitation, navigation patterns. It does not capture what visitors type, and the agent is never allowed to reference what was measured. Identity is off by default. If you choose to enable the optional add-on, business identity comes from our resolution partner and is billed only when it resolves. Full detail on the data page.

How hard is the install?

One script tag on your site, one connection to your agent over MCP or a webhook. No rules to write, no flows to build. The judgment layer is the product.

When can I use it?

NextIntent is in early access with a small group of design partners. If you run an AI agent on a site with real traffic, we would like to talk.

Never miss the moment

Early access is open for teams running Fin, Hugo, or a custom AI agent.
