The awareness layer for AI agents
NextIntent reads live visitor behavior and tells your agent the exact moment to speak, with the context to say something useful. One script. Any agent.
The problem
Industry benchmarks put live chat engagement at 5 to 15 percent of visitors. Everyone else hesitates, compares, stalls, and leaves without a word. Your agent can answer anything. It is waiting for a question that never comes.
How it works
STEP 1
A lightweight script streams live behavior: attention, hesitation, struggle, momentum. It reads timing and movement, never what visitors type.
STEP 2
Real-time judgment separates browsing from deliberation from struggle, then decides: speak now, wait, or stay silent. One approach per visit, never more.
STEP 3
The moment and its context are handed to your agent over MCP or a simple webhook. It opens the conversation. You own the relationship.
Two directions
Timing is half the product. The other half is that your agent can ask us questions mid-conversation, so its answers and its own workflows run on live awareness instead of a blank screen.
Push
When a visitor hits a moment worth interrupting for, NextIntent hands your agent the opening, the reason, and the context to say something useful. Not a rule you wrote. A judgment made live.
moment: deliberation · comparing "Growth" vs "Scale" · 3rd visit · pricing page
Pull
Mid-conversation, your agent can query NextIntent over MCP: what is this visitor doing right now, what held their attention, are they struggling. Its own workflows can branch on the answer.
agent → visitor_context() → { attention: "annual pricing", struggle: none, returning: true }
Why this is different
Plenty of tools see behavior. Almost all of them see it after the fact, or react to it with a rule. NextIntent streams it live and keeps re-deciding while the visitor is still on the page.
BEHAVIORAL ANALYTICS
Behavior happens. It gets recorded. Someone understands it afterward. Useful for next quarter, useless for the visitor on the page right now.
RULES-BASED TRIGGERS
A rage click, exit intent, thirty seconds on a page. A predefined event fires a predefined message. By the time the event exists, the moment is often already gone.
NEXTINTENT
Hesitation, movement, cadence and friction stream in continuously. The read on the visitor updates as behavior changes, and the call between quiet, wait and engage is made again as the evidence moves. Your agent hears about it the instant the answer changes, not on the next poll.
Your agent has intelligence. It already knows how to help.
NextIntent gives it awareness. It knows when help is about to be needed.
What it notices
Every other moment, NextIntent keeps your agent quiet. Silence is a feature.
Scroll thrashing, circular navigation, the same page three times. Someone is looking for a thing they cannot find.
"Happy to help you find the right pack size, just let me know."
Two options, long attention on both, no decision. Someone is missing the one piece of information that settles it.
"Comparing Growth and Scale? The short version: Scale adds SSO and audit logs. If it's just the seats you need, Growth covers it."
Settled attention on pricing, a stalled quote form, a return visit to the same plan. Interest is real and the moment is now.
"One thing worth knowing about the Growth plan: annual billing brings it under your current spend. Happy to walk through it."
Momentum fading, attention drifting, about to leave without asking. The moment before "maybe another day."
"If any questions come up about the audit, I'm right here."
Principles
Being offered help is welcome. Being watched is not. The entire system is built on that line.
One approach per visit, decided carefully. A visitor who declines is left alone.
The agent speaks to what is on the page, never to what was measured. No "I noticed you've been reading this for a while."
Uncertainty means silence. A missed moment costs a little. A wrong interruption costs trust.
Never miss the moment

Integration
NextIntent is not another agent. It is the sense of timing and context underneath yours. Built for AI agents: if it can hold a conversation, we can tell it when to start one and what to say it about.
Your agent answers questions. NextIntent decides when to start the conversation.

FAQ
No. NextIntent has no chat window and writes no answers. It watches for the moment, hands your agent the opening and the context, and steps out of the way.
Timing and movement: attention, scrolling, hesitation, navigation patterns. It does not capture what visitors type, and the agent is never allowed to reference what was measured. Identity is off by default. If you choose to enable the optional add-on, business identity comes from our resolution partner and is billed only when it resolves.
One script tag on your site, one connection to your agent over MCP or a webhook. No rules to write, no flows to build. The judgment layer is the product.
NextIntent is in early access with a small group of design partners. If you run an AI agent on a site with real traffic, we would like to talk.
Early access is open for teams running Fin, Hugo, or a custom AI agent.
